Bio

Yasmin Anderson-Smith, AICI CIP, CPBS  is a Certified Image Consultant and Personal Branding Strategist,  known as a global voice on civility and for her commitment to empowering emerging business and professional women. Often misunderstood, civility is critical for building trust, social capital and positive relationships.  After more than 15 years in public and private sector project management, Yasmin successfully re-branded herself as an image consultant when she launched her consulting firm, KYMS Image International in 2006 and the Make it Happen!  networking group in 2008, to empower business women. In addition to speaking and training on image, personal branding and civility, Yasmin chairs the Civility Counts Project, a global initiative sponsored by the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), and is author of the white paper, Civility Counts – An Image Perspective. She also co-authored the book, Executive Image Power and writes on image and civility for Image Update magazine. Yasmin, was recently appointed to the  AICI International Board as Vice president for marketing. Fulfilling her passion for youth and giving back to community,  in 2007, Yasmin created Every Girl Can™ a personal development and life skills program that has influenced hundreds of teen girls and gained international brand visibility.
